HIS PROVIDENCE COMMUNITY GROUP
STORY
His Providence Community Group is the Outreach Ministries of His Providence Church (HPC) in Swansea, MA. From the very beginning, the people who make up HPC felt called to be effective leaders in the community by reaching out to those in need... but not just to meet the immediate need, but to teach, mentor, and equip those they were helping to help themselves... and eventually others.
HPCG is a 501c3 Faith-Based Non-Profit Organization and operates independently as well as in conjunction with the ministries of HPC.
VISION
Our desire is to reach our community with practical needs while also meeting their emotional, social, and spiritual needs. The Bible clearly states that we are to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, soul, mind, and strength... and to love our neighbor the same way we love ourselves... with the same concern, intentionality, and desire to see our own needs met, we too need to meet the needs of others. Our neighbor is defined as anyone and everyone we can show love to. To love in speech as well as action. But especially those marginalized by our culture.

TEAM
Our team as comprised of many people that come from various walks of life. We range from some that were homeless drug addicts to business men... but all desiring to make a difference in their community. The core of our team are men and women that carry large chucks of vision for the many areas we desire to reach into. But just as The Church, as a whole, is like one big family, we too are one big team!

01 / THE NEED
We truly desire to meet the needs of our community. Practical, economical, spiritual, social, etc...
We don't want to just be another handout... we want to be a hand up. Providing opportunities that break the cycles of poverty, drug abuse, education deficiencies, homelessness, broken homes, lack of self worth, while building a community that breeds healthy relationships and not hate.
02 / THE PEOPLE
There are many people in our community, churches, and sphere of influence that have a passion help serve in our region and help those in need. We want to facilitate individuals and teams that have a desire to help in specific areas but lack the tools, capabilities, and leadership.
03 / THE SOLUTION
Using our resources and bringing people together for the common goal- to unite our community and make it stronger- we will have the opportunity to help and we will see real change in those that lack.
We want to infuse our community with hope and life!
